Contract Cataloging & Searching

HCL Technical Services is currently engaged in twelve contract cataloging projects with OCLC TechPro. These projects target specific languages of uncataloged materials: Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.

Another company offering similar services, Marcnow Innovative Solutions, may be considered for future contracts.

In the recent past, the automated searching service, Marcadia, has been utilized to identify matching copy in RLIN for uncataloged or In-Process items in the Cataloging Stacks of HCL Technical Services.
