Aleph -- Ongoing Developments

In August 2006, version 18.01 of Aleph, an integrated library system developed by Ex Libris, was implemented at Harvard. Ongoing Harvard developments are managed by the Harvard University Library, Office for Information Systems (OIS) under the guidance of the Aleph Steering Committee. A number of advisory and ad hoc teams have been set up to address issues based on functional areas. Aleph Liaisons facilitate communication between OIS and the local library units.
The Aleph Documentation web site is the central repository of the most current policies and information regarding the use of Aleph at Harvard. The site is arranged by functional area and also provides links to the Aleph Support Center managed by OIS.

A number of staff members from HCL Technical Services are involved in the development of Aleph at Harvard through membership in advisory and ad hoc teams. Nancy Hallock serves as our Aleph liaison.
