Using RefWorks at Harvard

Logging Into RefWorks

Harvard users can easily access RefWorks from both the Harvard Libraries page (under the E-Research menu) and the Find E-Resources section of the E-Research@Harvard Libraries site. In Find E-Resources, there is a link to RefWorks in the small menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen. RefWorks also appears as one of the choices in the "Quick jump to selected major resources" list. There is also a link to RefWorks in the My Research > My Citations section of E-Research@Harvard Libraries. Harvard users must log in using their Harvard ID/PIN in order to use the My Reseach section.

Logging into RefWorks
As soon as users connect to RefWorks they are required to log in using their individual account username and password. Every RefWorks user is required to "sign up for an individual account" the first time.

Remote users accessing RefWorks from off site or from a non-registered IP address must enter Harvard's Group Code prior to their personal Login name and Password. Please consult the email you received when you signed up for an individual RefWorks account or contact our support team for the Group Code.
