Down Beat (1934- ): Online and print access in multiple library locations (click title for online). Selected content also available via the official Down Beat website.

Journal of Popular Music Studies (1993- ): Loeb Music and online holdings; recent issues cover topics from Arabic hip hop to poetry to VH1 to intellectual property, articles and reviews. Highly authoritative, scholarly journal.

Popular Music (1981- ): Holdings in Lamont and Loeb Music. International and authoritative multi-disciplinary scholarly journal covering all aspects of popular music and many theoretical perspectives, including social and cultural identity formation, global music industry, many aspects of world music.

Popular Music and Society (1971- ): Print holdings in Widener Library.

Rolling Stone (1967- ): Selected content also online at the official Rolling Stone website. Available at many campus libraries including recent issues in the current periodicals areas in Lamont and Widener Libraries.

Spin (1985- ): Official website for Spin, popular music magazine, selected content online.
