Congratulations to HCL’s Dean's Distinction Awardees!

February 25, 2011 – Assistant Head of Library Billing and Privileges Ann-Marie Costa, Curator of the Woodberry Poetry Room Christina Davis, and Librarian for Undergraduate Programs for Writing Susan Gilroy are recipients of the 2011 Dean’s Distinction Award.

In its second year, the award honors outstanding FAS staff members whose hard work and skillful collaboration have made a lasting difference for the FAS. The three HCL staff members were among 38 recipients out of 140 nominees.

Speaking of this all this year’s winners, FAS Dean Michael Smith wrote in an email to staff, “Reading the accounts of their achievements, one cannot help but be inspired, not only by what they were able to accomplish, but also by their creativity, generosity of spirit, and clear commitment to the institution. I am truly grateful to each one of the nominees for the positive impact they have had on the FAS.”
