To read the Chronicle of Higher Education online (Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer users):

  1. Open your Internet browser.
  2. Navigate to the Harvard Libraries homepage.
  3. In the red bar at the top of the page, click on E-Research.



  4. Click on the Find E-Journals heading, about halfway down the page. A new window will open.



  5. In the search bar, enter "Chronicle of Higher Education," then click GO on the right to begin your search.



  6. The first search result should be The Chronicle of Higher Education, click on the heading to open a new window.
  7. Click on the Miscellaneous E-Journals link to open the Chronicle of Higher Education homepage in a new window.


To add the Chronicle of Higher Education to your bookmarks:

Mozilla Firefox Users:

  1. Follow the instructions above to navigate to the Chronicle of Higher Education Web site.
  2. Click on Bookmarks in your browser's Menu Bar.



  3. In the drop-down menu, click on "Bookmark This Page."
  4. Choose whether to add the Chronicle of Higher Education to your Bookmarks Menu or the Bookmarks Toolbar in your browser window.
  5. Click done, and the site will be added to your bookmarks.

Internet Explorer Users:

  1. Follow the instructions above to navigate to the Chronicle of Higher Education Web site.
  2. Click on Favorites in your browser's Menu Bar.



  3. In the drop-down menu, click "Add to Favorites."
  4. Click OK, and the site will be added to your list of favorites.
