K. 618. Introduction by Leopold Nowak. This prized facsimile in the BMEO comes from the Oldman collection. It was issued in 1956, bound in pig leather with a matching slipcase, as a gift to special VIPs by the Austrian Government (Ministry of Education) on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Mozart's birth. It was never commercially available. The reproduction is so life-like as to look like the original manuscript.
