The Fine Arts Library’s microform collections provide access to photographs in major international archives, as well as archival collections and copies of original manuscripts. Photographs include such collections as the Witt Library photographic collection, portions of the Conway Library photographic collection, the Alinari archive, and the Marburger Index. Manuscript holdings include the J.M.W. Turner Bequest of notebooks and sketches, the Theo van Doesburg Archive, and the Peale Family Papers. Auction sales catalogs are included in the Knoedler Library¬†and Art Sales Catalogues. Treatises on art and architecture from the 16th through 19th centuries are included in the Cicognara Library, which are now represented by individual records in HOLLIS.
