The gift of Ellen and Michael Berk A.B. 1992 to establish an endowed book fund in the Harvard
College Library. The income of The Michael and Ellen Berk Book Fund for Japanese Collections is to be used
for the acquisition and preservation of books and other library materials that promote the study of Japan. The
fund will promote teaching and research by providing critical support of Harvard's
preeminent library collections.
