James W. Basker Book Fund 1986 The gift of James Basker A.B. 1974 to establish an endowed book fund in the Houghton Library in memory of his father, James W. Basker. The income only shall be used to purchase and maintain books and other materials to support student and faculty research in American history and literature from the colonial period until the outbreak of World War I.
