Cedric H. Whitman Memorial Fund 1986 The gifts of family and friends to establish a book fund to be known as the Cedric H. Whitman Memorial Fund in the Harvard College Library for the purchase of books in classics, with preference for those going into the Smyth Classical Library. If the Smyth Library has not immediate need for income from the fund, it will be turned over to general acquisitions for the Widener Library.
