The gift of Dr. Robert C. Rothenberg A.B. 1924 to establish a book fund in the Library for the purchase of books that might interest pre-medical students. Although acquisition of books will be given priority, the validity of those formats of an equally permanent nature may, at the Librarian's discretion, be acquired. The intent of the 'Collection' is to kindle a spark of enthusiasm for medicine in all societies, ancient and modern; to put into appropriate perspective the excitement of current achievements, ever mindful of the patient as the central focus.
