Lothrop Library Fund

1986

On March 17, 1969, it was voted to establish the Lothrop Library Fund in the Peabody Museum for the purchase of books for the Peabody Museum Library. On October 1, 1979, it was voted to transfer the Lothrop Library Fund from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to the Harvard College Library.
