About The Fund

The gift of members of the family of Joseph Lee to establish a fund for the Harvard College Library. The income from this fund shall be used for the acquisition of books and other materials for the collections of the Harvard College Library, and for such of the costs of selecting and preserving books and other materials acquired by the Harvard College Library, provided that the amount so allocated shall not exceed 25% of the income.. It is hoped that preference will be given to books in the field of History, Government and the Humanities. This indication of preference is intended as a guide and not as a limitation.
