Clarence L. Hay Memorial Book Fund
The gift of Alice A. Hay to establish a fund in memory of her husband, Clarence L. Hay, the income to be used for the purchase of books and other publications for the library of the Peabody Museum. I place no restriction on the type of books to be purchased with the income of the fund and leave their selection to the discretion of the Director of the Museum and the library staff. On October 1, 1979, it was voted to transfer the Clarence L. Hay Memorial Book Fund from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to the Harvard College Library.
