Established by students and friends of Professor John Hays Gardiner, Class of 1885. It is our desire that the annual income of this fund be spent for books of permanent value, preference being given to books on Burma, the history and art of war, the history and literature of England in the seventeenth century, and the history and literature of New England and Pennsylvania.
