About The Fund

The partial bequest of W. Bayard Cutting, Jr., Class of 1900, as shall be designated and appointed in writing by Edgar Huidekoper Wells of Boston, Massachusetts. By direction of Edgar Huidekoper Wells one half of the income is to be paid to the Harvard College Library, for the purchase of books on modern European history, and the history of the countries of Northern Africa, preference being given to the books on the history of France, Switzerland, or Italy, and to the history of Morocco, Algiers, or Egypt.
