Jane S. Britton Memorial Book Fund

The gifts of family and friends of Jane Britton to establish an endowed book fund for the purchase of books in the field of anthropology, archaeology, and ethnology at the Peabody Museum. On October 1, 1979, it was voted to transfer the Jane Britton Memorial Fund from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to the Harvard College Library.
