Little Zizou is the directorial debut of screenwriter Sooni Taraporevala, who wrote Mira Nair’s Salaam Bombay! Mississippi Masala and The Namesake. This contemporary comedy is set amongst the unique and fascinating world of Bombay's Parsi community, followers of the prophet Zarathustra and tells the story of two very unusual families in conflict - one headed by a religious bigot, the other by a reforming journalist.

Little Zizou screens in tandem with Taraporevala's photography exhibition Parsis: The Zoroastrians of India, on view October 25 through December 20 in the Sert Gallery at the Carpenter Center.
